Sample Vial Adapter

The SVA 4000 was designed
in collaboration with the G.G.
Hatch Stable
Isotope Lab to respond to the
problems of utilizing small diameter
sample vials in place of larger
diameter sample vials in a
variety of commercially available autosamplers. Certain
circumstances prevent collection of sufficient sample material
to allow the use of large diameter vials. TGS's SVA
4000
provides a means by which smaller diameter vials may be utilized, in
such cases where only a small amount of sample is available.
In addition, as a result of dimensional tolerances between the vial and
carousel, inaccuracies and imprecision of positioning the
carousel openings beneath the needle, possible imperfections in the
needle, and the generally smaller septum aperture of small
diameter vials, the SVA 4000 assists the needle in
targeting the small diameter vial septum. |
