Fluid-Preserved Specimen Vessels
Our fluid-preserved specimen
vessels are designed to enhance the visibility of your
fluid-preserved specimens on exhibit. They are available in a wide
range of custom configurations designed to fullfill your technical and aesthetic
requirements. Borosilicate glass is used throughout for
its high geometrical accuracy, excellent optical properties and
exceptional corrosion resistance
Vessel selection
generally falls upon strict criteria not limited to
the size, shape or orientation of the specimen, specific preservative,
access to the specimen over the long or short term, environmental
factors such as temperature or pressure, viewing angle and
aesthetic.
Lid selection extends
beyond the functional requirement. Lids may serve as both access and
view port. A clear top view or top and side view will determine whether
that lid may have a ground glass seal, or may be a flat or
stepped disc.
We work with you to understand your
needs and we explore a variety
of design configurations to find the solution that is right for your
application and your audience. All parts we fabricate and assemble to
exacting standards, and we ensure your complete satisfaction to help
make your project a success.
